Grub and Gossip Grants - Part of the Full of Life Festival and Manchester Food and Drink Festival
06/07/2010
This year Food Futures and Valuing Older People are joining forces to offer Grub and Gossip grants for community food events during the annual Full of Life Festival and Manchester Food and Drink Festival.
Grub and Gossip is an exciting opportunity for community groups and organisations to arrange events that bring people from across the generations together using food. By coming together, Food Futures and VOP would like lots of neighbourhoods in the city to get together, get involved and bring the two Festivals to a diverse range of groups from across Manchester.
There are a limited number of grants available for £100 and £500. Any not for profit organisation in Manchester can apply e.g. community groups, schools, social housing schemes etc. We want help to bring the two Festivals to all neighbourhoods in Manchester so priority will be given to areas that don’t already have an established events calendar.
Please note events must take place during the Full of Life Festival and the Food and Drink Festival, i.e. between 27th September and 11th October 2010.
Deadline for applications is Friday 30th July 2010.
If you have any queries or to make an application please contact 0161 234 3547 or see the food futures link below.
